wherin I rant on about the heartbreak of Missing Pedal.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Fictional posting, sorry. Just my two cents for prospective sellers and their prospective customers..

PEOPLE
Please.

You should know, as an owner, if your car is an Automatic or a Manual.

Automatic. Manual. Even if it's broken, it's important. And you know what?
you'll get calls and emails about TESTING THE CAR rather than
'is it an automatic or manual? Oh. Okay, thanks."

You've interrupted somebody's consideration of your vehicle by the unknown factor of your
omission of important information.

At least take a picture of whatever lever thingy in your horseless carriage that makes it go forward and backward.

No not the things on the floor..
Oh, okay, just count how many moving footrests you have. 2 is an automatic,
3 is a manual, and 4 is a driver's education vehicle.

Um.. Kinda lost my train of thought.. What I'm really trying to say is

AUTOMATIC OR MANUAL!

One or the other. PUT IT IN THE AD! That at least implies you know that much about your car.

"1985 Delorean Wagon, 5-speed manual, 130,000 miles. Etc. etc.

$..

Oh yeah. PRICE! No, we don't want to guess. Make offer? tow it away for free?

Put a PRICE on your toy. If it's too high or low, then the market will correct itself.

Thanks

Any corrections needed? Sorry about the Porsche tease.

Of course, I'm Neutral about the debate of usability of either type of transmission, Right now, I'm facing a Schrodinger's Car conundrum. The Car could be either type. I don't know. I have to call the seller.

That annoys me a bit. Sorry.

Schrödinger's car is a nice one to describe that kind of situation.
